A love poem for a lonely lover. Love
poems are songs for the heart.
A Little Faith
Life is the roulette
we wager everyday,
I used to win it all,
I used to play on red.
Tonight the bets are off,
the flip of luck is tails,
blueprints of my soul
where sadness wins today.
Bartender, if you please,
I need a cocktail now,
I need your special one,
the one that cures the pain.
I need a little faith.
Please, play a song for me
and serve me one more drink
of your Blue Song Daiquiri.
